‘Just a whole bunch of cute/funny animal pictures, as a request I got recently.
Don’t even bother telling me this video is “too fast” because 1, there is nothing I can do to change that now (and even if there was, I wouldn’t do it) and 2, if there’s one thing I absolutely HATE, it’s slowness. I don’t know about anyone else, but if I’m looking at pictures, especially straight-forward ones like these, I don’t need to sit there and stare at them for five minutes and if I was forced to, I’d get bored and close the video. So, bottom line — I made this video in a way that I saw fit, and if you don’t like it, don’t watch it. Is that information simple enough for you to digest? I sure hope so.

This video shows some of the tricks I have been working on recently with Kiko and Splash. Some of the more interesting ones are, teaching Splash to look left and look right, teaching her how to skip, and how to shuffle backwards in a bow. Kiko started offering a tap dancing behavior which I captured, as well as scratching with her back feet. I also taught Kiko to go between Splashes legs as I saw a Boston Terrier do in the movie Hotel for Dogs, and thought it would be very cute to teach. Splash however, looks stressed as you can see, when kiko works too closely around her, because Kiko usually will boss Splash around if she is too close to her.
All these tricks were taught using clicker training and no forms of positive punishment (meaning me saying No! or eh eh! Wrong! Or any physical manipulation)

This is Asia the Cat’s fourth video, this one focusing on the fun she has with a picnic basket. The video also includes some “cat vs dog” moments with her and Taco the Chubby Chihuahua playing. For those of you that don’t know the story of Asia, she was found abandoned in a field in December 2009 and taken to a rescue shelter for cats. She had serious ear mite infections in both ears, Cataracts in both eyes (full in one, partial in the other) and a neurological issue that is still being diagnosed. She was adopted in January 2010.
